I'm sorry to say none of that happened. I've known April Pedersen as an accomplished freelance artist for about 15 years, although we've never met, she very occasionally pens some illustrations for me. I am a senior citizen enjoying my retirement by creating a few websites. One such illustration - for something else entirely - was a couple of 'slightly odd' characters who turned into Alec and Des. Messing about with 'Photoshop' did the rest - well it enabled me to flip, re-size and superimpose - letting me come up with some odd little groupings. I thought these might make the basis for a 'fun site'. A rush call for a design for Deirdre and Angela followed which expanded the family nicely. And now Grandma is on the way - and who knows what she will get up to. So it is essentially a fun site, with maybe a little of something else added to it.
