Battery Cottage was built in 1927 and has a serviced flat called Chart Room on the ground floor (pink on the front, yellow on the back) and a self-catering section called Battery Cottage in the top two storeys. This picture shows the Battery Square side. |

This angle is from the estuary side, near Battery Steps. Day visitors are not allowed into this residents only area. You can see the door into Chart Room under the overhang. Battery's patio offers a wonderful view of the estuary and the hotel and beach down below. |
