The Centenary Gazebo was designed by Susan Williams-Ellis and built in 1983 to commemorate the anniversary of the birth of her father, Sir Clough Williams-Ellis. It is constructed of several of the cast iron maritime panels found on the Hercules Gazebo, and numerous other places at Portmeirion, and the center of it is actually a chimney pot.
