Chantry Row (Rhesdair Siantri)

Chantry Row was built in 1961-62, renovated in 1993, and contains several examples of Sir Clough's trompe l'oeil illusions. Although it appears to be line of four two-storey cottages, the upper windows are actually fake painted ones, and it consists of only two hotel suites. |

An unusual feature at the north end of the row is the distinctive 'onion dome' facade, which, as you can see in this picture, is simply hiding a boiler chimney. |
