Gothic Pavilion (Pafiliwn Gothig)

Portmeirion Gothic Pavilion

Inscription on it reads: "This reerected Gothic porch from Nerquis Hall aptly commemorates William Madocks, 1773-1828, who loved this region and strove mightily to increase both its fame and its prosperity. Portmeirion hereby acknowledges her debt to this man of vigorous virtue. CWE 1973" Although it was dedicated in 1973, it was actually reerected on this spot in 1963.
