Who created the Virtual Tour of Portmeirion?
Husband and wife team Marsha McCurley (an academic librarian) and David Lawrence (a retired engineer) created this site. We have been visiting Portmeirion since 1978 and have a passionate interest in the history and welfare of this beautiful place. We have taken thousands of photographs and have one of the largest collections of information about Portmeirion in the world.
Why was it created?
Hey, we love Portmeirion and want to share it with the world! We wanted to publish a book on Portmeirion (having never seen one that did it justice), but decided a web site would give us more creative freedom and could be updated.
