Plas Brondanw

Plas Brondanw is the family home of Sir Clough Williams-Ellis. It came into his possession in 1902, after several years being abandoned by the family. The house itself had been divided up into separate apartments and the garden into allotments.

Sir Clough used many of the same architectural pieces such as iron gates, mermaid panels, etc., at Plas Brondanw as he did at Portmeirion.

Sir Clough took inspiration from Renaissance Italian formal gardens in the landscape design of the gardens.
