Toll House (Tolldy)

Portmeirion Toll House

Toll House has a shop on the ground floor and a self-catering flat in the upper two storeys. Americans will be startled at its slight resemblance to a colonial log cabin.

Toll House was built in 1929, renovated in 1986, and is so named because it had the original tollbooth as part of its architecture. This tollbooth can still be seen at the side of the building. A statue of Saint Peter is located on Toll House's balcony.
